The United States of America: Forerunners of the new age

The United States of America is said to be one of the forerunners of the booming economic and industrial stage of the world. People around the world are constantly looking and basing their own economic growth with what the US of A is undergoing. So when news said that the economic growth of the powerhouse suddenly encounters a bump, many panic citizens and leaders of other countries are left on the edge of their seats awaiting what will US of A do to lessen the blow of economic recession.

With the onset of the recession after eight years of “blissful” economic growth brought a halt in the production of many companies’ products, goods, and or services. Many high-earning companies are experiencing slow sales. This makes the company directors come to a point that it is more beneficial to close some of the branches of their company as oppose to allow their companies to suffer the more severe consequences that might happen if they continue the operations of the said branches. Some of the high-earning companies that did this way of cutting-down are Hewlett-Packard and Starbucks. Closing down of certain branches operating poorly, put a dent on the low unemployment rate in the country. Many employed people, locals or even overseas employees, of these companies are now finding themselves out of jobs. Many of those terminated belongs to the lower class level of the economy thus making them more underprivileged compared to others. Yet they don’t lose hope, they constantly search for ways on how to live by day by day and still hoping that the recession will end sooner that expected, putting the United States of America back to where it belongs.
